We started doing gigs to uplift and platform the FLINTA* musicians around Te Whanganui-a-Tara. And to have fun! Each gig had a theme / purpose.
I orgnaised this gig 6 weeks moving to Naarm. It was definitely out of my comfort zone as I knew no one when I moved. The line up consisted of 4 femme DJs. A nude improv dancer for the night. A photographer.
Booty Beats was the first home base event done. It was the first time performing for most of these DJs . We even made special pink T-shirts for it.
This event was a Halloween event in collaberation with 2 other collectives, 3rd space and
Miss Raven.
In collaberation with Safe house. A gig to fundraise money for
Palestine.
